On June 20th, 2018, Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom announced the social network would be launching Instagram TV (IGTV). Instagram TV allows users to watch and share longer videos – up to an hour long. The videos stays on your profile (rather than getting deleted after 24 hours like a story would). It also gives the ability to add links in the video’s description (which are great for selling your products or promoting your blog).
